| Police are preparing a report on their investigations into the allegations of sexual assault of a two-year-old girl by a prominent local priest.A senior police official at the CID Headquarters, Eve Leary, told this newspaper that statements have already been taken and the file on the matter will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice on the way forward.The priest was detained by investigators after the child’s mother reported that her daughter was sexually molested.
